Mary Lindsay

pronouns: she/her

  • Meet Mary! She's our go-to person for the marketing & communication aspects of USS (that’s basically, this weekly e-news, the website, social media, graphics, and promotional materials), skillfully working remotely from her Nashville base. With decades of experience in church and nonprofit management, she's a pro in nurturing communities.

Mary's roots are in Kansas City, MO, where she grew up in Unity Churches. She's been a dynamic Children, Youth & Family Ministries Director for Unity churches in Kansas City and Houston and later pivoted to Operations and Administration Manager at a Unitarian Universalist Church in Nashville. Now, she's making waves at CSL (Centers for Spiritual Living) Headquarters and lending her expertise to new-thought Churches nationwide.

In the nonprofit realm, Mary's worked with various organizations. She has had great success in boosting membership, organizing events, structural organization, and marketing. She's a mom to two young adults and in her downtime, she's all about Bunco, Canasta, indulging in milk chocolate, sipping coffee, and grooving to James Taylor tunes.
